Parkdale Edmonton Real Estate
The neighbourhood of Parkdale is located in central Edmonton, in the Norwood area. By the end of World War II, 40.5% of Parkdale homes were built, and 32.4% were built between 1945 and 1960. According to the 2005 municipal census, 67% of Parkdale homes are single-family homes, 27% are apartment-style condominiums and rented apartments, and the majority of the remaining 6% are duplexes, row houses, and social housing units. A total of 61.1% of homes are owner-occupied. There is one school in Parkdale, operated by the Edmonton Catholic School System: St. Alphonsus Catholic Elementary Junior High School.
