The neighborhood of Michaels Park is located in southeast Edmonton, in the community of Millbourne in the area of Mill Woods. As with much of the Mill Woods area, most of the homes in the neighborhood of Michaels Park were built during the 1970s. According to the 2005 municipal census, a little over half of the homes in Michaels Park are single family homes, and another third of the neighborhood’s homes are row houses.
