Beacon Heights Edmonton Real Estate
The neighbourhood of Beacon Heights is located in Edmonton. Beacon Heights was originally a part of the Town of Beverly, then in 1961 Beverly joined the city of Edmonton. In 1910, before Beverly was a town, development began in Beacon Heights. One in ten of Beacon Heights residences were built by the end of World War II, and half of the residences were build before Beverly’s amalgamation with Edmonton. Approximately 75% of the residences in Beacon Heights are single-family dwellings, and the other 25% is made up of low-rise apartments and duplexes. About 85% of those single-family residences are owner-occupied.
